| USS Midway Museum, one of the facilities symbolizing San Diego, the military city. The USS Midway museum opened in 2004, with retired American aircraft carrier Midway as a museum. Midway was an aircraft carrier that was also used for the Gulf War, and there were also times when Yokosuka Base in Japan was used as a home port. In the museum, you can walk on the deck as well as on the carrier of the aircraft carrier, and on the deck, successive fighters such as F14 are on display. |
