Sightseeing Guide
The building with the impressive Habsburg coat of arms in the center of the roof of the building is the Joint Government Building.
The Joint Government Building was built in the early 20th century and was originally the former Ministry of the Army, so it has a brave appearance. There is also an equestrian statue of General Joseph von Radetzky in front of it. This general was a 19th-century soldier who was active in the battle against the Kingdom of Sardinia, which was trying to conquer the Italian peninsula at that time, mainly in northern Italy. However, after his death, the Austrian Empire was defeated by the Kingdom of Sardinia and conquered the Italian Peninsula, and Italy has a history of being created today. If you study such history in advance, you will be deeply moved by the mere statue.
