| Wat Pho is famous for its huge lying Buddha statue. Wat Pho was built in 1793 by renovating the temple that Rama I of the Bangkok dynasty had been doing since the Ayutthaya period. The huge Buddha statue is 46m long, and there are 108 pictures on the soles of the feet so don't miss it. Also, there are lined money boxes next to the chapel, and it is said that if all the money boxes are paid, the wish will come true. If you do not have any change, you can change the currency at the beginning of the money box. |
