Sightseeing Guide
One of the finest historic buildings on Beacon Hill is the Nichols House Museum.
The Nichols House Museum was built in 1804, and was purchased in 1880 by a physician, Nicholas, where his daughter, Rose Nicholas, lived until 1960.
Miss Nicholas is known as a pioneer in women's emancipation and the World Peace Movement, but is also a collector, displaying the collected interiors and antiques. As a gardener, the garden is one of the highlights.
