Climate overview
Mali has three main climates. The northern Sahara Desert has a hot and rainy desert climate throughout the year. The central part has a hot and semi-arid step climate, and the southern part has a wet and dry season. During the rainy season from June to September, the amount of precipitation is high and the humidity is high. In the dry season from February to April, there is almost no rain and a hot day continues.
