| Shinjuku Koma Theater in 1-chome, Kabukicho, Shinjuku. The Shinjuku Koma Theater, which opened in 1956, initially called itself "Shinjuku Koma Stadium," but was later renamed. The theater was popular with a wide range of age groups, from young people to the elderly, and was held mainly for musical and enka performances, but closed on December 31, 2008.
