Sightseeing Guide
Zhongshan Hall is located just a short walk from Ximen MRT station.
Zhongshan Hall was built in 1936 as a gathering place for Taipei citizens, and was designed by Kaoru Ide of the Office of the Governor-General of Taiwan during the Japanese occupation. Zhongshan Hall, which is located in a fashionable area with many young people and has a large site, has historical value and has been designated as a 'National Historic Site', and is currently used for events such as plays.
