Castle Mountain is a famous mountain in the Canadian Rockies. Castle Mountain was named Castle Mountain in 1858 because James Hector resembled his hometown of Edinburgh Castle. After that, it was changed to Eisenhower Mountain when President Eisenhower of the United States visited Canada, but due to strong requests from the locals, it is now back to its original name, Castle Mountain. |
