Checkpoint Charlie is the border checkpoint of the era when Berlin was divided into the east and west.
Checkpoint Charlie was established from 1945 after the end of World War II until 1990 when the East and West Germany were united.There is a big picture on the front and back of the checkpoint, one of which is an American soldier and the other is a photo of the Soviet troops and you can feel the history of the East-West division era.In addition there are museums where photographs of the time are displayed in the surroundings, you can understand deeply when you see sightseeing after seeing this, so it's great to be impressed.
