Sightseeing Guide
As the name of the mountain suggests, it is Mt. Iou that emits sulfur all year round.
In the Ainu language, it is called "Atosanupuri" which means "naked mountain". It is well maintained as a tourist spot, and you can walk from the parking lot to the crater, but you have to be careful that the smell of sulfur is strong just by going nearby. Take your mask and do your best to the crater!
