| A sailing ship in Greenwich, famous for the observatory, is Cutty Sark. Cutty Sark was a tea carrier built in 1869, a rapid sailing ship that was carrying from China to England. At the time competing for how fast transportation was possible, such a ship was constructed, but after that the Suez Canal opened and it gradually faded in stead of the steam ship era.
