The building next to Plaza Espanya with a distinctive brick-colored exterior is the Ceralbo Museum. The Cerralbo Museum opened in 1944 and displays the home and collections of the Marquis of Cerralbo, who died in 1922. The museum was originally the home of a marquis, so it is luxuriously built and has an interior that is not typical of a museum. There are also many historical works on display, such as paintings and sculptures. |
