Aichi Prefectural Gymnasium is located within the grounds of Nagoya Castle. Aichi Prefectural Gymnasium was completed in 1964 and is a large facility with a capacity of approximately 7,500 people. Its most famous event is the Nagoya Grand Sumo Tournament, which takes place every July. It is also used for other sports related events such as swimming, boxing, and professional wrestling, as well as concerts and other events. |
