Tsutenkaku Tower was built in 1912 (Meiji 45) and became the present second-generation Tsutenkaku in 1956 (Showa 31).
Tsutenkaku Tower, one of the representative buildings in Osaka, is located in the central Shinsekai area, but it can be seen from the downtown area of Osaka. Also, as it is a distinctive symbol, it is often a landmark from the observation deck of each building in the city.
