Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall, one of the main tourist spots in Taipei. The Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall is a large facility built in 1980 to honor Chiang Kai-shek, the first president of the Republic of China. The uniquely shaped Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall has a long staircase, from which you can see the view of the Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Park and Liberty Square Gate. There is also a statue of Chiang Kai-shek on the top of the stairs, and depending on the time of day, the guard changing ceremony is held, and it is crowded with many tourists.
