Karlskirche features a huge dome and two columns. The Karlskirche is a baroque church and is said to be one of the masterpieces of Baroque architecture because of its beauty. There is also a fresco on the ceiling of the church, which was built in 1716 by Maria Theresia's father, Charles VI, to pray for the plague's tranquility. Concerts are often held nowadays, and it is also popular as a church concert. |
