| The Zao Ropeway is the ropeway that connects Zao Sancho Station and Zao Jizo Sancho Station. Use this Zao Ropeway to see the scenery of Zao, which is famous for the rime that is synonymous with winter. There are two lines on the Zao Ropeway, consisting of the foot line connecting Zao Sanroku Station and Jizo Kogen Station, and the mountaintop line connecting Jizo Kogen Station and Zao Jizo Sancho Station. It operates throughout the year, carrying skiers and rime tourists in winter, and mountaineers and plateau tourists in summer. There is also the Zao Chuo Ropeway nearby, but be careful as it will be different from this one. |
