A large mosque on the hill of the old city is Suleymaniye Mosque. Suleymaniye Mosque is a mosque built in 1557 by the life of Suleiman I of the Ottoman Empire. After that, it was destroyed by fire and war, and the current building was restored in 1956. It is a place that is somewhat difficult to go as a place, but this is also part of the World Heritage Sites in Istanbul Historic District, so I would like to try it if possible. |
