Sightseeing Guide
Grand Palais was built as the main venue for the 1900 Paris Expo.
Grand Palais is a large facility that is 240 meters long and 45 meters high, and is now used as Grand Palais National Gallery (National Art Gallery).
The glass - like roof which is a symbolic existence was rebuilt because part broke down in 1993.
Looking from afar, it is impressive that only the glass roof looks out from the trees in the park.
Especially in the evening, I can see the red transparent glass roof and the Eiffel Tower stained red from the sunset as seen from near the Tullee Park and it is one of the scenic points.
