Hakodate Seaport Plaza is a facility that used the building that was the waiting room for the Seikan Ferry.
Hakodate Seaport Plaza opened as a complex facility with several tenants such as souvenir shops in 1990 after the Seikan Ferry was abolished in 1988, but after that, it became a local beer restaurant, and in 2005, " It was also used as a classic car museum as "Queen's Port Hakodate", but it was closed in 2008 and dismantled in 2013.
